What's a PCR-RFLP Monster?
The PCR-RFLP Monster is a web-based application that emulates the PCR-RFLP process. It replaces the laborious and pain-staking task of choosing the most suitable endonuclease or combination of endonucleases to distinguish your set of organism/s.
- The Monster can test thousands of endonuclease combinations to distinguish your given sequence sets in only a few seconds
- It is very simple as easy to use with step-by-step instructions
- Gives you the most cost- effective PCR-RFLP options
- choose cheaper endonucleases (or combinations) and
- set the resolution of your distinguishing fragment sizes and detection limits
- Most importantly saves you significant time, facilitating fast turnover of your diagnosis and research and reduces the likelihood of human error.
- Produce attractive outputs that simulate the running of a gel.
Students: Were you looking for an explanation of the PCR-RFLP process? This site will assume you know all about PCR-RFLP processes. If you don't there are many websites that explain the process (the National Human Genome Research Institute, Ulrich Melcher, and Davidson College all offer good explanations.)
Signing Up.
We know you are itching to get started.
The PCR-RFLP Monster will be launched early 2006, when we are confident that we have tested it to oblivion on as many platforms as we can find.
If you would like to sign up to be a tester, please enter your email address below. Your details will be fully protected and not passed on to any third parties. You will receive the (very) occasional email letting you know how our progress is going, as well as notifications of special rates for testers.
